This hand blown Glass sculpture is another of my On The Reef series. This stunning work has dichroic inlay inside both of the turtles and a beautiful solid reef sculpture using the glass as a lens which magnifies the glass frit, giving amazing feeling of depth.
This hand made glass sculpture was extremely difficult to make, working with colours that are on the edge of the glasses possibility.

Each piece is handmade by Bill Taylor the glass blower. With an eye for detail and a love for colour he can spend hours blending various colours to produce the right feel or interpretation in the glass art he is looking to achieve. Sometimes very striking or can be the most subtle influences in colour and form making the artist work truly unique.
