This beautiful purple's, blue's, amber's, couloued dragon was difficult to make but a lot of fun playing with colour. This particular glass has pure silver added which gives the glass a stunning colour haze over the surface, this I have further manipulated with the chemistry of the flame to draw out various colour tones. The eyes are compound and made individually. The dragon holds a Amethyst stone ball in one claw. Amethyst is a healing stone all dragons know this.

Each piece is handmade by Bill Taylor the glass blower. With an eye for detail and a love for colour he can spend hours blending various colours to produce the right feel or interpretation in the glass art he is looking to achieve. Sometimes very striking or can be the most subtle influences in colour and form making the artist work truly unique.
